Hey guys, so I am looking for any and all advice on taking videos and pictures with my new iphone. I recently bought a 13 Pro Max, literally jsut for the camera upgrade from the 11 that I was using before. To be quite honest, I can tell that the quality is a little bit better, though not as much as I truly thought it would be. Now, this could very easily be because of something I am doing, and not the fault of the phone by any means. Now, most of the time I will be taking my videos inside of a, not so well lit up barn. Sounds weird, but the gym I go to and pay rent at, is built inside of an old barn. For anyone wondering, I will leave a youtube link to a video shot on my Canon camera. I know there are some settings I can play around with, but I will most of the time be probably shooting in 4k @ 24 FPS. That is just what I have seen online, for youtube videos, shot through the front end camera. I am also going to be testing out the new camera mode "Cinematic" which is supposed to focus more on the subject its aimed on, and make the background more blurry, but dont think that will be the ideal option for youtube videos. I will be most focusing on the routine/exercises in the gym, and maybe some content around food, like what I eat and what not to get in to shape ect.
My questions are... Besides a super expensive Gimbal, anything like them, besides a tripod, i could use to get good angles ect, without needing a camera man and having to pay someone for that, as I am broke right now and on a tight budget and 2.. anything I should know about filming in general on the iPhone 13, thanks! decided to post a video and wanted to show you guys on ttg how much better the camera looks then a camera, plus a lens i paid well over $1000 for! Probably right around 1500+ if not more!
