Newcastle United have agreed a deal for Southampton right-back Tino Livramento worth £40m including add-ons

Another player who left Chelsea, young and looks promising. However the price tag looks more like an investment than a short term signing. Southhampton going to have to look at potential signings this season.

Newcastle have made 2 midfield signings this season already. He will definitely need to prove his worth.

Could've had 10 if we were clinical to be fair, too many wasted opportunities.

Tbf watching most "top teams" they've been exactly the same whether it's city, arsenal Newcastle etc they've all been the same. Huge opportunities but lacklustre, glad to see Newcastle dominating a little bit (although it's only one match) rather than city.

Too many people sleeping on our home form. Liverpool were the only side to win at St James last season and we had 10 men for about 80 mins.

Then again home form for any team (except arsenal) we concede almost every game. Despifts winning. Everyone uses the excuse of "it's amazing how a couple of billion can do for a team" take Chelsea for example, they've sold almost half their original team. Newcastle have seen improvement after improvements every single season. I wanted to support Newcastle since my family are from Durham. Couldn't. Be still secretly have a lil love for them

You wouldn't go down very well with the unwashed then as they despise 'Durham Mags'
