| It surely doesn't mean too much unfortunately. City haven't won the Community Shield since 2019, yet they've competed in it every year since (excluding 19-20). I mean Liverpool beat them last year and look at how our season went! Leicester before that and they aren't even a Premier League team anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a team usurp City, but I don't think that this is a foreshadowing of things to come. |

Only reason assna have the trophy is because City couldn't play themselves. Should've been Uniteds game to play anyways.
