I really have to get this off my chest after the last forum I posted

So I truly cannot stand people who hate on people who watch anime in THE ONLY LANGUAGE THEY'VE EVER KNOWN.

I DONT SPEAK JAPANEESE

I CAN'T UNDERSTAND IT

I LIKE TO WATCH THE ANIMATION

I WOULD READ MANGA IF I WANTED TO READ ANYTHING

WHY WOULD I READ SUBTITLES AND MISS WHAT IS ACTUALLY IDK.. HAPPENING

I just really don't even get the argument. Its almost like people, either A) want to hate on others, or B) Know another / pretend to understand another language for the sake of looking cool.

There's a lot of more reasons I dislike the whole concept behind critiquing others on how someone ELSE enjoys their own past time. Its really weird to me. And sad.

I can't personally watch anime without subtitles BUT I only choose to when I'm tired and can't be bothered to read, I have it subbed/dubbed lol

that is the entire point of the post. I watch my anime dubbed. I only speak and understand english. Why would someone be mad at me because I don't want to read the screen while watching anime?

Some people love to try and be different and some just like the authenticity of the originals.

Right, I get that. Which I have watched some stuff in the original form. But I won't do it all the time, I don't need to feel special all the time lol.

Yeah it's weird to hate on someone for their choice of dub, or to like gatekeep anime that way. I personally prefer the Japanese version as I find the voice acting better/more immersive

Although there's some English dubs I really like as well. At the end of the day it's whatever you enjoy most:) so totally agree with you

I agree, I do think that quality wise, it is a lot better in Jap.
