Heh guys so my fiancs P.C. on halo runs with low ping and on mine it's running 150+ for halo and we're on the same internet at the same apartment. Anyone know why or how to fix this? It doesn't make sense

does she have the same pc specs as you? If she is running a lower tier PC that could be the issue. If not always check the game settings to make sure hers are the same as yours or lower her settings.

The specs aren't bad but the weird thing is on task manager my wifi is running super high but the other computer on task manager performance the Wi-Fi is running low.
Would an Ethernet cable on the computer where the Wi-Fi is sky high help it at all with the ping ?

I would try it at least. It may help a little.

Using a cable will make the world of difference for example if I play with no cable my ping is around 50 to 70 on apex but if I run with a cable I run around 30 to 50 ping. Wifi cards on PC are cheap and crap they are the cheapest component of the tower normally from my experience of having many gaming desktops.
