LYK wroteyes very true I suppose that's the problem with this world now you never know if you are getting a good deal or someone is pulling a fast one. Maybe check out PC specialist they are really good pcs and they have deals on sometimes.TuM wrote I personally think he is better of looking for a prebuilt second hand to get the most bang for his buck, Will get a way better pc second hand then buying new that's for sure. However like others said it all depends where he is based on what he can get for that money but stretching to the 1000 euro will defo be way more worth it. |

For a shade over 1000 euros in the Netherlands, this is probably what I'd be buying;
PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor (140.95 @ Megekko) Motherboard: Asus PRIME B550-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard (108.50 @ Amazon Netherlands) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory (60.89 @ Amazon Netherlands) Storage: Western Digital Black SN770 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive (55.85 @ Megekko) Video Card: XFX Speedster SWFT 319 Radeon RX 6800 16 GB Video Card (464.00 @ Amazon Netherlands) Case: Fractal Design Pop Air RGB ATX Mid Tower Case (94.90 @ Amazon Netherlands) Power Supply: SeaSonic G12 GM 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply (86.85 @ Azerty) Total: 1011.94 If you need it cheaper, drop the RX 6800 to an RX 6700XT and you can save 100 euros. I would say that the RX 6800 is worth the premium over the 6700XT though. If you just need to get it under 1000, you can drop to 16GB instead of 32GB RAM if you want, or just buy a cheaper 1TB SSD(The Crucial P3 is a good option). You could also probably save a little bit of money on the case, or find something your friend prefers the look of for a similar price. The Fractal Pop Air is a solid mid ranged case though. |
