So finally took my Xenon jtag and my RGH consoles out of storage after about 6 years. The xenon still works like a champ but the rgh has trouble glitching on the first startup of the day and once it does finally boot up it freezes after about 5 minutes. Doesn't matter if its sitting on the dashboard or in xell it'll just freeze and I'll have to restart it. It might just be dirty in there I have no idea but any thoughts would help on getting this to not freeze so often.

Maybe I had both of them boxed separate with Styrofoam inserts holding them in place and once I set them in our warehouse they never moved. I was thinking of just upgrading it to rgh3 and taking out the mod chip all together.

opened the console check my solder joints all of them looked fine. It took me about 30 minutes to get it to boot up though and it lasted about 15 minutes before it froze.

It froze after 16 minutes and the temps of the system are.. CPU:121.5 F / GPU:113.9 F / MEM:108 F / MOBO: 81.5 F
Which to me seems fine so over heating I don't think is causing it. It was also doing this before I updated the dash yesterday and I thought updating it would solve the issue but it didn't.

I think so. I was thinking of downgrading from the 4gb to the 16mb but honestly that seems like more work than just rgh3 a different console and I found someone selling 4 xbox's that don't read discs for $25 for all 4 so I'm just going to get those and test and check them and then rgh one or two of them. Probably keep the mod chip from this one just for nostalgia lmao.
