I understand if I was to steal pictures or videos of Elon musk owned by a media company it could get me copyrighted.
But what if I was to just use his name and talk about him? Would this abide by YouTube's policy and allow me monetisation maybe one day? If all visuals, images, and content are mine and owned by me, and I am simply talking about public figures. Is this the way to go? Thanks in advance Edit: the only images possibly used would be licensed through for example shutter stock, if I did show for example Elon musk. |

I guess this would solely depend on what type of content you are making on these public figures. If the type of content you make is educational, then yes, This would typically be allowed on youtube. I've also attached a picture below to sort of break down what they would consider fair use but by my understanding as long as it isnt hate speech or derogatory towards them, Then i can't see you getting into any trouble over it
