I have been modding my achievements for games via a tool I have and I also play games to get achievements legit well using the tool to unlock a few every few months. I actually unlocked 2 full games achievements all at once like 4 months ago and haven't gotten banned yet. Been doing this process for like a year now and no bans yet. Just really depends. If your smart about it you should be fine but obviously still risky.
