I've always heard about the phone calls where they try to get you to say "Yes" and use that to "do things" and today I feel for it I think .. I often answer all calls and try to mess with the member on the line.... But today I regrettably said "sure is" when they asked if it was me they immediately hung up. I'm sure it varies but is their something in particular I can expect from this? Or just disregard and move on.

These are automated calls that check if your number is active. They'll end the call if you say anything.

The idea that saying "yes" could enter you into a financial contract is a myth.

You will stop getting calls if you stop answering.
