Someone told me if you own a licence to a Xbox 360 game and its delisted. If you get the xbox files on a USB and install to the xbox you can play the full game. Is this true?

I'm not sure if it's possible but it would definitely need to be a legit copy of the game in GOD format and probably not one that's been downloaded off the web

If you've already purchased it, you should still be able to redownload it? Same logic as when the 360 marketplace gets shut down, Microsoft stated you would still be able to download and play your old games that you already purchased.

If its not letting you, you might just need to reinstall your licenses in the system settings or wherever it's located. Been awhile so forgive me if my info is a little off lol.

Yes, If you bought it and its not on the store any more you should be able to play it. I had to use my friends license transfer to get all of the DLC's for Guitar hero 3 and DJ hero 1/2 because they were delisted a very long time ago

iv never brought a game from any store or xbox marketplace, from my understanding iv never used a licence either, download a game from a website thats trusted and use the correct software you can play games, assuming you have an RGH / JTAG
