I don't have much of a budget as this will have to be in the next 3-6 months but just gathering as much info as possible.

Not sure where to start, I am looking to upgrade my pc but again, still clueless.

Current build:

CPU: i5 10-Core Processor i5-14400F (Up to 4.7GHz) 20MB Cache
GPU: 8GB ZOTAC GEFORCE RTX 4060 -
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z790-A WIFI (LGA1700, DDR5, PCIe 5.0, Wi-Fi 6E)
RAM: 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 5200MHz (2 x 16GB)
Power supply: CORSAIR 750W RMe SERIES MODULAR 80 PLUS GOLD, ULTRA QUIET

I'd love to boost my FPS count when playing in both 1440p or 1080p, monitor won't be an issue as hopefully by then I'll have saved up for a 165hz QHD. I have had the recommendation of switching to an RX 7900 xtk but price is above my budget, I have considered 7900 GRE / 7800 Xt. I don't know if I'd need to change my power supply too if I did any of these things..

Please help me? <3

Your power supply is fine even up to a 4090. Buy the best graphics card and monitor you can afford.

I'm not sure I'd purchase an RX 7800XT or 7900GRE if you are already using an RTX 4060. Would make more sense to put as much money towards monitor(s) for now.

For a GPU upgrade, wait for a newer generation or buy something like an RTX 4080 or RX 7900XT; anything less is a waste of money for what you'll get IMO.

If that's all you can afford and you really just want as much FPS as you can currently get, then yeah just buy the best graphics card that your budget will allow. Personally, I'd wait until I had more money or more options.
