Hello. I've recently been using a cheat engine for Warzone and of course, my main account was permanently banned (could care less) but I used an alt (with walls/unlock all) for a couple of days with no problems. There was a cheater in-game so I turned on mine to get him out of my lobby and I must have been mass reported so my alt now has a shadowban. When checking Activision's ban appeal, it says that there is no solid date for when shadowbans are lifted and to periodically check their page to see if the shadowban has been lifted or turned into a ban.

Just a few questions:
How long do shadowbans usually take to be lifted? A week, 2 weeks or is it dependant on Activision?
Will using a third alt also be subject to the shadowban since it could be a potential IP shadowban?
Will using a VPN help me avoid the potential IP shadowban?

Thank you. Don't typically tend to use cheats which is why I have no clue about this type of thing but I could care less about WZ until BO6 drops.

Sadly, you will get shadowed whether you play legit or not.

Question 1- First few typically last 3 days, that is 3 full 24 hour cycles, down to the exact hour you got disconnected, rarely midnight the same day. If it isn't 3 days, its 5, then 7, and 10. I've experienced all durations and it's down to the exact hour like i said, for you i would say 3 or 5 days. Just keep checking.

Q2 - You need bulletproof/aged accounts to increase odds of not being shadowed, new accounts will not last long. Engine Owning will likely always be unsafe, they are usually detected although they advertise otherwise.

Q3 - VPN's do not make a difference in my experience, i've been legit since WZ1, over 100 shadows just on main account. VPN on or off. It's sad really

again, this is all from my experience, but i have a shit ton of time spent trying to figure this out and have gotten nowhere. Been shadowed twice this week
Best of luck.

You are an absolute legend, this is why I can always trust this website. I'm planning on purchasing one of those $5 aged accounts from PlayerAuctions & check out how it goes along with a VPN since I believe it's been about 3-4 full days since the initial shadow. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to reply.

No problem, glad i could help your situation some.
i believe it comes down to account trust score/rating, of you and also of the person reporting you. All you can do is pray people aren't spam reporting you, lol
And as for the duration just keep checking the appeal page, it will update the literal minute and hour you got shadowed, 3-5 days later saying no ban detected. i usually take a clip when i get disconnected as a timesatmp and then count the days after that
