I do see a whole lot of my "friends" in my circle anymore so I don't have many people to talk to. I have been struggling with addiction for the last year and finally have decided to pick up my pieces, get clean for many reasons.
I am sorry to drop this on this beautiful community but I just need someone to talk with. Cheers to the future and getting clean. |

Addiction is mean it dont care what color you are or what you go through or how much money you have or anything. You can over come it man ! Ive been addicted to p*lls in the past and all I can say is YOU have to want better than that, nobody can change you or make you. YOUR in control & you can beat any addiction I believe in you !
( I had addiction, no life or goals no license until almost 27!! lost the love of my life and only real gf ive had and cared for and ppl I thought were friends ) but life goes on and always gets better buddy !! |

Yea I had the same addiction and everything you said is so true and am incredible thankful for those who are here in time of need. I do want better for my health and future, I do believe that's what's driving me. P.S: I am sorry for your loss and hope you achieved your goals coming out of it. |

I respect your decision to WANT to get clean. Thats the will power and attitude you will need to achieve sobriety. I used to abuse prescription meds. All my "friends" did too. I would always find my self returning to the abuse when I would chill with them. When I broke ties it was much easier to stop. Withdrawals are nasty but no more peer pressure! My best advice is to change your crowd if you have one. If they do it YOU"LL Do it. Much love man and Good Luck! |
