I wouldn't even know how I'd sum up my job. I work in IT for freight companies around the world
One day I'd be building networks in a warehouse and next, I'd be troubleshooting why some ship captain isn't getting emails at sea which holds their weather report (actually happened) It's a bizarre job but that's life I guess. Do I enjoy it? I guess? I can't see myself being in IT forever. It's brutal on the mind. |

I worked in retail jobs my whole life and hated it. I always wanted to get into the apartment industry as maintenance but it took me a while to even get into the industry and I had to know someone to help get in. You usually need some sort of experience to get in since most apartments don't have a groundskeeper position anymore. I just recently got in as a groundskeeper by getting very lucky and had someone put in a great word for me and got in instantly and working my way up.
My job is to basically keep the property looking clean and what not. I work my ass off and kept everything perfect. The last grounds guy before me didn't do crap so when I first got started it was a disaster. However, I got everything looking great I just gotta maintain it. I like my job and don't mind doing it. |
