Hello, i bought my pc in july as a prebuild i have a i9 14900k and a 4090. i average 170 - 200 fps in warzone which isnt bad but mates with 3080's can get way more (250-280). come to blackops 6 on nuke town with LOW settings im getting between 130 - 150 fps with jumps to 260 which is for less than a second down to 130 - 150. my average is probably around 150 fps but my biggest lows on maps are 90fps

im so confused i have done everything i can think of is my 4090 faulty?

1. Check your drivers and make sure they're all up-to-date
2. If your mobo has a built-in graphics card, make sure your primary is set to "high performance NVIDIA processor" in your NVIDIA control panel
3. give up and mail it to me for no apparent reason pffft...

What's the full build list? I'm wondering if there might be compatibility issues.

What resolution? Post your game settings.

3080 can do around 200 FPS on low at 1080p. Not 250+.

Your CPU cooler is undersized for a 14900K. Check your CPU temps in game. HWInfo will show you if cores are thermal-throttling.

hwinfo.com

If you're seeing temps in the 90s, undervolt the CPU.

Also 1080p with a 4090? Sell it.

I seem to hit max 72 degrees with my cpu - also about my montior being 1080p it's a acer predator 240hz which is very out dated, been using it since warzone 1 lmao I am upgrading to the 1440p 360hz alien ware monitor soon as your not the only one recently who's called me out on that . I only play call of duty and some Minecraft but I play competitively hence the high end specs

Try increasing your graphics quality settings. If you post the game settings, we might be able to help with specifics.

Sounds like your CPU is fine. You might want to check that your XMP (memory settings) profile is enabled, that your BIOS is up to date, and that your power target in Afterburner is maxed for the 4090.
