Probably wrong section but I have had no answers on Reddit so, feel free to move if wrong.

I am looking at either: upgrading my GPU to a 7900 GRE after the release of 50 series in January OR buying an OLED monitor. It's mixed reviews on YouTube as of now, with colour burning issues. I have currently got a decent set up however, it's not as good as I want it to be.

1 X 1440p (QHD) 32" Curved VA Panel at 165h
1 X 1080p (FHD) 27" Standard IPs Panel at 165h

I like working with high quality images, as well as fast FPS on games.

Has anyone got any thoughts or recommendations?

I have a Samsung OLED G8. Its very nice but I miss the color profile of the LG more. This monitor does very well with games and pictures. More of a happy medium for me.

This has to be the best deal I've seen since I've been searching, i will be capped at 165hz however, even if I tried my pc won't be able to do more than that anyway.

What's your genuine opinion? Is it worth it? Screen burning issues?

I think it would be worth it. I'm sure you would see a positive difference and not really even notice the screen burn that much. In the future you can always upgrade the PC.

It is a sweet monitor!

I've never actually seen the difference in person (only TV's in curry's) but that's a lot different than monitors. Would it be worth it when it comes to designing? Being able to see "true black"? My current one is decent as is, but I am not entirely sure if it's worth the huge price tags - could just wait out s few more years and grab one when they're cheaper.. or if lol

Decide if you want Samsung QD-OLED or LG WOLED. QD has text fringing issues, but it's less of a factor with higher PPI. The MSI model you linked has low PPI. Text looks bad.

2nd gen QD-OLED monitors (34" 3440x1440 165-175 Hz) are good deals.

3rd gen came out in 2024, and it's crazy. 32" 4k 240 Hz around $1000. Buy one if you can.

The true black aspect is the biggest difference, and it IS worth it.

Oh shit, they offer warranty's based on burn in issues too?! That might be a huge selling point for me. On the one I posted earlier, I'm not sure if I am able to comprehend specs, would you recommend? If I am looking at buying one I don't think scraping the remaining change I have if you get what I mean? Definitely something worth spending thst extra for?

3rd one sounds amazing but then again, it's worth mors than my entire pc build haha

another side note I missed out was I do want one over 27inches if possible :p

Modern panels are very resistant to burn-in. I wouldn't worry about it.
