So I recently heard or read that "No Mans Sky" is going to be Updated with AI for its NPC characters. This would essentially allow the NPC to think more like a human and react as if they were truly real people. What are some opinions on this topic? Would adding AI to games make games more enjoyable? Development costs and time can be high, so developers focus AI efforts where it has the most impact, using simpler models for other areas. Balancing these factors allows developers to create engaging, realistic AI within practical limits.
