Game of the Year 2024
This years nominees for The Game Awards' "Game of the Year" have been released and admittedly, the nominees are a little disappointing in comparison to those on offer in 2023. Game such as Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree and Black Myth: Wukong are probably not so surprising inclusions, though a case could be made as to whether Erdtree is actually a full fledged game. It seems that half of the games among this list are outsider choices. What are your thoughts on the nominees, do you think they all deserve their place amongst each other? | I don't have much of a choice since I haven't played any of the games on the list. If Stalker 2 had released earlier, it would definitely be on there, and I'd happily vote for it. What a bummer! |

College Football 25 is the only game I've put actual hours into this year, and I love it. Probably not a popular pick outside of the US though. |

Damn, a pretty disappointing year for video games if these are the top games...
I've never played these games, I likely won't anytime soon unless Black Myth comes to Xbox. Surprised Helldivers 2 isn't on the list with all the attention it had this year. |
