Who's the greatest player in the premier league it's you Juan Juan Juan it's you Juan Juan

Another case of a player not having the right attitude to play at a club like Chelsea. Wasn't happy with being rotated, so he forced his way out. Still happy about us selling him though, as I still don't believe that he is worth anywhere near 40mil

The fee in normal circumstances would probably have been justified given his past seasons and the inflated transfer fees that we've become used to. However, considering he was visibly unsettled and clearly had no future at the club, the fee we got for him was marvelous business.

I agree on that part , I love him as a player and his attitude here was awesome when he was playing regularly. Also an argument is (While no one should be doubting his quality) do you remember anything Mata did during our champs leauge run?

I remember his corner into drogba , I think he scored in the group stages , But he wasent a standout player , Though to be fair your never going to stand out when Drogba is playing like he was.

Btw one of my all time most memorable and favourite chelsea moments ever

I was away at the time , So i had to miss the match , Got back to my hotel just as the game was finishing , Put the TV on and i started watching literally as Benfica was taking the freekick and then Raul did that and the benfica fans were giving him stick all night as well apperently so im sure he loved that.

Obviously it was a mistake, I'm not sure why Ballack would say this as every single person who supports football knows it was a mistake.

"It seems like it was a mistake from Manchester (United) to let him go," Ballack told Sky Sports.

"He has this desire. His physical ability is there. He also has the nous to read situations, and to be in the box to score goals."

Roman given his blessing to Cech to join a rival apperently.

Still dont think it will happen , Though i was thinking about it the other day , And this is crazy but id rather him go to a rival than leave the PL.

1)He is still good enough for the PL
2)He is close to breaking the PL clean sheet record and if he doesent get it with chelsea he deserves to do it
3)I said it with lamps , Same goes with Cech , He has earned the right to do whatever he wants now , He will always be in our history no matter what he does.

Must be the first time a player / pundit / commentator has mentioned the obvious....
They do it all the time.

Ive read alot from Ballack recently though , Again loved him as a player we had some incredible midfield players when jose was in charge the 1st time.

Yeah Cech is still a world class keeper in my opinion better than Buffon and Casillas. I think he could walk into to any team in the La liga, Seria A and most teams in the BPL and become their first choice keeper.

Easily , If he goes to a BPL club watch how every media outlet hails him as the best GK ever etc , He hasent been mentioned this season and ive said from the start he is still one of the best in the leauge , Id put him top 3 easily.

De Gea > Courtois > Cech/Lloris at the mo. Lloris is quality as well. I rate Begovic as well.

No media outlet will call him the best ever though, he is no Schmeichel ;)

I agree he is no Schmeichel , He is better.

Petr is 5 games away from breaking the record , Would be devasting to see him not achive that after being head and shoulders (Mind the pun) better than most GKS each season.

Id actully be upset if he left the PL....

Oh come on, Schmeichel is probably the greatest goal keeper the world has seen. Phenomenal.

If you base it just on stats, would you say that Alan Shearer is the greatest striker of all time?
