Apart from his burst of pace, movement and finishing (which has diminished significantly in the past 2 years from his high standards), he's a pretty poor footballer. Couldn't go past people, hold up play was average, passing was bad and wasn't a creative player. He was a great impact player from the bench and would be worth keeping him for his worth there if it wasn't for his decline. His decline was most likely to a lack of football, good to see he's back on form again though, I hope he keeps it up. |

Still 0-0 but the way we are playing is really positive. Much more pace in our game, something we've been lacking so much. Carrick and Pereira playing quite deep, we're on about 80% possession without passing round defence too. Love this. |
