We need English players to replace Lampard, Terry and Cole who are coming to the ends of their careers. Also why I feel Shaw would be a great buy, although it's a lot of cash for such a young player

I agree but i think it's stupid overpaying for players just for the sake of them being English.

Although you 'overpay' clubs will probably earn money through marketing, the younger generation always go for the English players on the back of their tops. Lampard/Terry was the appealing ones when I was younger. Rooney, Gerrard etc.
