I've only seen Benatia play a couple of times as I don't watch much Italian football but he is fantastic, some even rate him higher than Thiago Silva as well.

Di Maria is quality as well.

Would be some great signings there for City.

Didact wrote Awards as follows, well deserved in my opinion.

LMA Manager of the Year sponsored by Barclays
    Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool

    LMA Special Merit Award
    Russ Wilcox, Scunthorpe United

    LMA Service to Football Award
    Norman Rimmington, Barnsley

Barclays Premier League Manager of the Year
    Tony Pulis, Crystal Palace

Sky Bet Football League Championship Manager of the Year
    Nigel Pearson, Leicester City

Sky Bet Football League 1 Joint Managers of the Year
Kenny Jackett, Wolves & Russell Slade, Leyton Orient

Sky Bet Football League 2 Manager of the Year
    Russ Wilcox, Scunthorpe United

Budweiser FA Cup Manager of the Year
    Nigel Clough, Sheffield United

I didn't realise that Brendan Rodgers won Manager of the year!

He deserved it though! Such a tough battle against City!

Seems Benfica's European curse has continued. Congratulations to Sevilla.

I personally dont understand how Pellegrini didn't win one of them awards. Surely the manager of the team who wins the league should get the award, after all he was better than Rodgers.

Not at all. Pellegrini was expected to win it by miles and only just managed to nick it because both Chelsea and Liverpool blew it. Pellegrini had a poor season in my opinion, he struggled to win the league and their CL performances speak for themselves. Pulis 100% deserved it, what a job he did at Palace. They have a real chance of staying up next season now, too!

i agree about pellegrini if he didn't win it he would have been a failure and that was extremely close to happening. with the team they have they should be getting to at least the semi finals
