James wrote Potter is a great manager but I don't think he should take the chelsea job. His project at Brighton is going so well.
Only get a few chances to take a top 6 job, might not happen again if Brighton form dips

It could obliterate his career though. Look at lampard, another rookie manager. Ended up at Everton and his jobs on thin ice. I agree with James. Stick to what you know especially when he's going so well
Lampard isn't and never will be a good manager. Potter has built his career up, great at Brighton and in Sweden got the club from the 4th division into Europe. has to get time to implement his ideas and will be a good appointment

Your point is fair but potter is not a top drawer manager and simply that is what Chelsea need. The guy is never a champions league manager. Managing Brighton to a good run of form is not the what Chelsea need.
I couldn't name a manager that would suit Chelsea, they fire so many managers. Tuchel got instant success and fired, Zidane, poch wouldn't suit them either.

One thing to note is he wouldn't be going their to take the club to the heights, he'd be dragging them from the depths. What he's established at Brighton of all clubs is nothing short of bonkers. Chelsea are a shambles from top to bottom at the minute, if the new owner is willing to sack off the manager after spending as much as he has at the end of the transfer window it makes you wonder who was wearing the trousers in those negotiations.

If it was Tuchel and he handpicked all those players and Boehly was willing to bin him after the build then why would Potter wanna go there.

Prem all star game is the most out of touch thing to ever leave anyones mouth. Not a single Spurs or Arsenal fan want to see their players play together. Not that a single Arsenal player would make the XI mind you.

And Liverpool, City and United all playing together, Todd is a genuine moron. Not to mention the North would literally be a Man City team with a Bench of Liverpool and United players.

Unless it's like a thing where every time has to put up like 3 Players but still i'd rather watch League Two than watch that shite.

Its all americanised nonsense. The only thing preventing your league from becoming that way is the fans. Club boards and owners are just so out of touch from reality. This idea is a total embarrassment, a guy with money whos done zero research other than will this make me more money.

Imagine some American donny buys the SPFL and says we're gonna do a Rangers and Celtic combined 11 vs whoever. There'd be uproar, violence, probably some deaths. I know no other teams in the world have a Rivalry like the Old Firm, but I would genuinely rather watch my house burn down than see any Arsenal player on the same team as us.

I miss when actual football fans owned clubs, takes me bag to Sugar at spurs. The man lived and breathed the club, wasn't just a business to him. Now with Levy we've become a robotic money making club with the most expensive stadium in the world and no where near the level of football to match it.

Todd honestly needs to take a leaf from Wrexham, two A-List celebrities who had no clue about football. But have taken the time and effort to learn the grass roots, mingle with fans and not just think what a business venture this would be.

Facts the reason it works in America is because they couldnt careless about rivalries plus all the Nba players love each other compared to us we all take our rivalries so serious Imagine all the Chelsea,Spurs and Arsenal fans in the one stand at an All star game it would be like world war 3 lmaoo.
