360MoTioN wrote I already said what I believe on the matter and you simply replied with "but we've won more league titles". Awful reasoning, I was just pointing that out. Nobody cares who was the best team in the world 10-20 years ago. Players want to join the best team currently. Which is not United. |

360MoTioN wrote I know this wasn't dictated at me, but the only thing I'd add to that is that at this point in time Chelsea are looking like they will win a lot of titles where-as Man Utd don't - they may do soon, but t this point they really don't and thats what gives Chelsea the upper hand principally. Would you not argue that back in 2008/09 when United were on one of their best runs and at their strongest under Sir Alex, they couldn't have attracted pretty much any player they wanted? |

-Fletcher wrote360MoTioN wrote Yes maybe we could attract more than we could currently, but certainly not anyone we wanted. We finished 11 points in front of the next team down two seasons ago and the best Moyes you get was Fellaini. So if we couldn't get much then, what can Chelsea get by beaten by an average league one side 4-2 and being a massive never seen before 5 points clear in the premier league? I hope you see where I'm coming from as I can see your point but I wouldn't agree with everything you said. Also just like to add, City were pretty much in the same boat as Chelsea last season and now chelsea fans believe Chelsea is the new Real Madrid. |

360MoTioN wrote-Fletcher wrote360MoTioN wrote The reason is because we have everything sorted - City are the type to just buy a player , Put him into the team just because he is expensive , Looking at city do they realy have a plan? , We have a team that was the result of a plan which has lead to one of the best teams in the world and most of them are very young so it will last years . Jose is the best manager in the world (IMO) and even if you dont think so he is deffiantly up there. Are coaching staff / Medics etc are are alot better also. Look at the players we have attracted - Hazard (Everyone wanted him) , Courtois was wanted by Barca/RM , Costa was wanted by loads , Fabregas (Someone who didnt like Jose) dropped all that when Jose spoke to him |

CompleteDesigns wrote360MoTioN wrote-Fletcher wrote360MoTioN wrote You have some exceptional young talent, but do you honestly believe that these young players (Courtois, Hazard, Zouma) are all going to want to stay at chelsea if they do look like they're going to be the top of their game for their whole career? We couldnt keep ahold of Ronaldo despite winning UCL. These players want to play for Madrid and Barca. What comes into the mind of oneself when you think of the biggest club in the world? Madrid (excluding United as we aren't the team in question/force we were 2 years ago Think about it as well, London or Madrid |

But the thing is any move would not hugely decrease us as a team.
Lets say Courtois wants to go RM or Barca , There would be a huge fee involved and we could just put Cech in goal (One of the best GKs in the world) wouldent affect us a all , And we would have the cash to buy another good GK. Zouma - Again if he goes we will have suitable alternatives. Hazard - One of the biggest impacts if he went but as JM said , Its not about getting a good offer its about getting a "phenomenal" offer and only then will we consider selling players. If hazard goes it will be for the kind of money Bale had spent on him (Maybe a little less / more depending on when he is sold) and unlike Spurs we dont need to spend that on a whole new squad (Or liverpool) we already have the squad , We could spend a max of 30-40m and get a direct replacement and then have millions spare. If anyone goes we can get a replacement for them because they are all superstars , So they will all warrant stupid amounts of cash , We only need to replace that one player and JM would of expected bids for Hazard etc so will have eyes on a replacement just incase i would imagine. Im not saying we can keep our players from RM (No team can if both parties , Player and club want it) but any deal done would be huge cash and would arguably make us better rather than weaker. |

Can i just say also , I like andre more now than i did before.I have always respected him but he has shown he has class with his move away from chelsea.
First off giving a few comments in a press confrence and on twitter saying how amazing our team is and he wishes us luck , He doesent regret his time here and that jose turned him into a man. I didnt expect him to come out and say he hated the club or whatever but you could understand if he was a little bitter , Or even if he just ignored it and not said anything about it. Top professional. |

Also, hearing now Depay is keen on joining Van Gaal at United.
If we can get Depay, I'd be ecstatic. Really really exciting young talented player, at age 20 with 19 goals and 6 assists from the LW position, in 25 games this season, can't complain. |
