CompleteDesigns wrote I dont doubt that Arsene and LVG are doing good right now.

The thing about "Greatness" however it doesent come from just a few matches , Greatness comes from consistency , All season long , For season after season after season.

Louis Van Gaal has already proved he is a top manager.
He went unbeaten in the CL and Eridivisie and won the league two more times.
He has also won two league titles with Barca, the copa del rey and won the bundesliga with Bayern Munich.
He signed Robben from Real Madrid and started Thomas Muller.
He also made it to the semi finals of the world cup and only lost out due to penalties.

"Only lost due to penalties"

Why do people say shit like this?
Penalties is apart of training a squad , Espically in a tournement like a WC or CL.
Losing due to "Penalties" is the same as losing in normal time , He lost thats it.

Still 1000x better than England have ever done in that last 48 years.

Also everything LVG has done , Jose has done with a lesser team.

CL with porto
Leauge with porto
Uefa cup

Back to back PL titles with chelsea

Back to back titles with Inter
Champtions leauge at inter

(Btw im onlt including the big titles) , He has obviously won alot more

La liga with RM

Another leauge title with chelsea this season.

He went on a 150 match unbeaten streak at home , Starting at inter and only ended at RM , Thats insane.

He then started a new 45 match unbeaten streak at RM + chelsea.

Thats without all the signings he made + CLs / club competitions he "Nearly" made , As i dont see the point in including them , Like you have with LVG.

Yes thats exactly what I'm saying, even Brazil, Spain, Argentina and Germany would get a lot of joy from beating the country that invented the sport.
If you look at the England team for them years most of our starting 11's have been much better than that dutch side.

Also you don't need to list what Mourinho has done as I never questioned his managerial career, that post was completely pointless.

Athletico vs Real , £50 inplay offer from Bet365.

Love these , Love putting on a fairly big bet with no risk.

Early thoughts are under 5.5 goals and RM double chance (Returns £70) , Other options are to quality (Returns just over £70)

Anyone got any thoughts?

Lest we forget LVG is 10+ years older than Jose.
If jose even has a less than average (For him) next 10 years there will be no comparison between the 2.

Seen Fergie say in a interview that Jose that could overtake him as a manager as he is much younger , Think he will be one of the best managers of all time.

Interesting stuff in the news. Sky have got a quote from Klopp on Hummels.

"
He told DW Sport: "He's good enough for Manchester United. He's told me he's thinking things over.

"We're always looking around the market ourselves."
"

Hummels would be a great addition to United. Just what they need.

"We're always looking around the market ourselves."

From that statement, we can possibly infer that Klopp would want a player transaction as apart of the cash deal? Maybe someone like Rafael, Smalling or Carrick?

Looking into it a bit too much there, I think Klopp will be hoping to get someone from the league they're in or surrounding. He'll probably raid the Russian league for someone, and he'll find a decent replacement.

Dragovic would be a good replacement for Hummels!
