Unfortunately, we operate in closed lobbies with our own members.

I just wished they were Open RP sessions.
I spoke to Tree about it but it seems they're forever closed.

PM me if you ever decide to go to open RP.

Thanks!

Did you submit an application or register to the site? If you registered to the site, that is not an application. The application can be found under the "Recruitment" tab.

Very excited to learn if I passed my application, because this would be my first step towards being a real police officer!

Unfortunately, UES will not operate in open lobbies. Here are the reasons why.

1. Having a stringent hiring process insures that we are getting the best and most qualified members. As of this post, 43 individuals have applied for CC14-014. Of those who have applied, only seven have been accepted for phase five of our hiring process.
It is much easier to insure that you are getting people who will follow rules, expectations, and standards by putting them through a hiring process. Explaining rules to someone who is experiencing your role-play, or role-play in general, for the first time doesn't insure that they will follow the rules. They also aren't accountable for their actions like an actual member would be. Thus they aren't bothered by the consequences to their actions.

2. UES has an advanced computer aided dispatch (CAD) system. Each member of UES is granted the opportunity to serve on the civilian side. At the beginning of each month, every member registers a civilian character to use. After they do this, we are able to use our CAD system to search license plates and names and get results. Having an open lobby would not be ideal for the system we have.

3. UES' methods of role-play are a lot more advanced then the traditional GTAV role-play lobby. Members utilize not only in-game actions but out of character/in character statements.

For example: When you arrest someone in UES you must state "I attempt to cuff you, do I succeed or fail?" vs "I handcuff you"

This style insures that there is mutual role-play occurring between players and that role-play is fair and not one sided.

There is a lot that goes into our games. Role-playing in an open lobby with people who don't understand our methods of role-play is not the best option. Feel free to check us out in the future and thank you for your feedback!

Sort of making sense now.
I understand why you use Closed sessions instead now.

When's the next time you're recruiting?
I wrongly turned down the oral assessment.
But the timing is awkward as I'm from the UK.
