VEry interesting and important thread.

I know I must be patient but I have a question, my channel has less than a month and I don't know if I'm saturating my channel or kep this way. In this time I've uploaded almost 260 videos and I haven't seen an important grow, most of my videos have between 2-5 views, some 15-20.

I have a gaming/walkthrough channel but because my system is not a "gamer set" (I play in a laptop with hd4000) most of my games are a little old, Assassin's Creed 1 to 3, Bioshock (all) NFS Most Wanted (2012) and Hot Pursuit.

So what do you think? Can you give me an advice? Or is too early for my channel, I need more patiente?

Sorry for the late advice, but the god honest truth.

Your audio is really distorted, you post WAY too many videos and they aren't in English, though some other language YouTubers do very well. The old games could hold back on people finding your channel but when they do, you do not commentate over any of it, your tags are just random words compared to things relating to the game and the games lag quite a bit making it very frustrating to watch.

I'd improve on those things and you will see some improvement.

Something I've been thinking for some time now...Is really that important to make a thumbnail? I mean in games I've seen it's kind of a turn off for some people including me, I even had better results and more views from videos without selfmade thumbnails, just the ones Youtube chooses. And it has it's logic, I mean it is better to watch some cool gameplay through the thumbnail that a generic image.

I guess thumbnails only work if you make them with a huge clickbait.

Thumbnails are so important, I personally will choose a video with a thumbnail over a video without one when searching for a video because it shows that someone actually put time into making that video instead of someone just slapping something together and uploading it.

Thanks, yeah I know how painful could be the lag and some other things, it is not an excuse but I play and record in a laptop with intel hd4000, that's the only I could afford back in 2012 and I've thinking in change it for a new one with a discrete card, but maybe until next year I'll have enough money.
