Hey everyone. I just received my PC from Cyberpower..shit show company if you were wondering.
I go to boot her up and got no video, made sure the monitor and cord are in working condition and theyre fine. I called CP and they told me to remove and replace the card so i did and rebooted, im now getting a screen with a bunch of colorful boxes. They said it's a faulty graphics card. So now i have to wait another month for a new one.

My issue is the rep didnt seem very reassuring that it was the actual issue? I only have a 30day return period and if it ends up not being the gpu then id think im screwed. It seems off to me since i bought 2 of the same exact system and theyre both having the same issue..

Just looking for some other opinions on this

Like i said id just like a 2nd opinion to ease my mind, can you tell this is a bad gpu just by this info?

That's very strange to say the least. Cyberpower should have completed burn in tests with it being a custom build, still effectively stress tests the machine to see if everything is happy together.

I would completely remove the GPU from the system however that's some crazy artifacting it looks RAM related compared to GPU.

I would remove the GPU and use the on-bored graphics so HDMI/DVI in your case and test to see if this fixes the problem. If not, try removing on stick of RAM to see if this resolves the issue. Even if you had a missing GPU driver your machine would/should never do this.

If you remove one stick of RAM and it's still doing it, I would plug the stick you've just removed back in and unplug the other stick to make sure.

You should NOT have to do this with it being a brand new machine, you should have by law a warranty with the product. Keep on their case. Good luck!

CP said they did test everything before shipping but idk.
I did remove the GPU but my CPU doesn't have int. graphics, i ordered a cheap gpu on amazon to see if that works. I keep getting the run around when i call CP, go figure they already have my money.

Your CPU doesn't have integrated graphics? I'm 100% certain it does.

I have AMD Ryzen 5 2600

But, i ordered a cheap $40 GPU from amazon and installed it today and everything is running great,

Guess i just need to wait a few more weeks for my actual card from CP, still pissed i had to deal with this whole mess.
