This is a video I took last year of a kid face planting on his bike. I gave him my helmet moments before I started recording him because it was his first time dropping in. Needless to say im glad I did both.

I sent the video to a known BMX instagram page that night and the admin said he would post in the morning. I went to sleep that night feeling great, like "wow I actually recorded a funny video people might enjoy". I woke then next morning to my phone buzzing like crazy. My instagram notifications were skyrocketing. When I first checked the page the video had around 8,000 views, then i'd refresh and it would keep growing by the hundreds then a short time after climbing by the thousands. The guys and I met up later that morning at the same skatepark to talk about the video and how crazy it was growing. Then the helmet company (Shadow Conspiracy) reposted it. That blew me away. Video companies were messaging me asking if Id like to sell the video and so on it goes.

Ive just now uploaded it to YouTube so if you'd like to check it out that would be awesome! Maybe get a good laugh out of it. The kid took it like a champ and he was stoked it was on video.
