so i play xbox all day everyday pretty much and i use elite controllers and i was wondering if the scuf elite custom with the og elite xbox paddles would be worth getting?
the OG elite grips fell off for me after a year so i was thinking about getting a custom with the scuf grrips? is scuf a good company and has anyone ever had problems with items off of them? EDITED What about the razer wolverine ultimate controller? is it good and reliable for long gaming sessions? |

Scufs are cheaply made in my opinion. I pretty much abuse my LB/RB buttons and they wore out pretty early on. Plus they use their own special bolts so you can't fix it yourself. And you'll probably pay more in repairs then the controller itself to be honest.
But for the time i had it, the controller felt great. I had my rumble pads removed so it was light as a feather. same thing happened to me also, the grips fell off after excessive play, but you could easily buy more. Now i'm not sure if its the same way for elite controllers but when i use my astros with the mixamp with my scuf, i had 2 paddles i couldn't use because my mixamp blocked them, you really only need the 1 or 2 but if you use all 4, that might also be a problem. Had/has a pretty bad lean early on, the stick got stuck when you flicked it up. I say i had the controller for a good 3-4 months until the problems started. Now its pretty much a paperweight until i send it in. |
