I've been doing some personal research as modding on old gen consoles was always fun to me but I've come up empty so I was wondering if there was any news from others.

I'm surprised I haven't seen modding as much as I use too!

Probably the best way to put it. I feel the closest we had was vantage but that shutdown and I have heard of any major tools that have been released like it.

The issue with next-gen modding (xb1 at least) is the constent system updates.

Sure you can keep your stuff offline to work on it but its kinda pointless bc we want to go online with it eh.

As for ps4, i've seen a couple exploit on videos but dont know enough to debate on it.

fair enough, just seems like next gen has been set up far better to stop any form of modding

Probably not until a new generation of consoles come out, even then they will keep updating the currency gen but maybe not as consistently.
