I'm looking for a good gaming budget router. The one I'm currently using I can not port forward, and I'm stuck on strict nat type. I'm using this for ps4, xbox one, and pc. Anyone know of good budget routers?

Thanks

I'm from Pennsylvania, US.

I picked up a netgear ac1200, boosted my internet speeds but still cant get the open nat type.

Been working a lot better than my other one though.

Get in touch with your ISP. They'll be able to sort it for you.

Sorry for asking a question on your post but does anyone know what difference buying a decent router will do? As it really just depends on your internet package right?

A couple of benefits include:

1. Better wireless coverage
2. Better control from within the router GUI, such as better port forwarding, simple layout
3. More LAN ports, gigabit // 10gb ports.

Couple more benefits... Many ISP's routers these days are pretty solid, it's only when you start messing on with them they tend to break.
