Hey so I bought an i5-9600K for my PC only to figure out my motherboard wasn't compatible anymore due to cpu being a new gen! So I was looking into CPUs, and motherboards ect on bestbuy bc that's the closest thing to me!
I'm stuck between these cpus: AMD Ryzen 2700X, Keep the i5-9600K or Buy a i7-8700K What's best for the most performance in Gaming, and also having multiple Tabs open, other apps while gaming? My budget for a cpu is around. $350 and under and those are the ones I found while considering the budget and if you think you have something better please lmk. Extra info- Games I play are, Siege, CSGO, Modded Minecraft, Call of Duty, fortnite, mostly FPS games and some survival games. Apps I use are: Visual Studio for coding! Thanks |

It depends what motherboard you have, obviously.
Those CPUs are all in completely different price ranges as well. |

RazorMouse wrote21 wrote It depends what motherboard you have, obviously. What are you going to be using this PC for? If gaming, which games and what resolution What hardware do you currently have on your right now. What's your final budget. There's no point recommending anything to you currently because we don't know you use case, what you have or a solid budget to work with.
