James wrote @sean: Ninja contest? I'm ready.. Really no specific reason, I hopped around pokemon/halo names for a bit, those that I remember being ODST and Rhyperior, eventually I settled on Scizor about 5 years ago and it's been that ever since. Probably won't ever change it again, with me being known as "that weird pokemon staff guy", changing it would just be a hassle. |

Nagisa wrote You being srs no inappropriate questions 1.) It's only serious because the usual AMAs just end up being the same type of cringe questions with people trying to be funny. 2.) idk man I got forced to be here. 3.) My best friend(s) at the moment would probably be Sean sadly and Axios. Petite wrote I second this as I was going to ask myself. The current staff team is alright but what are these members doing in the position of power they were givin to make this site thrive like it once was? We have all actually been talking and trying to get on the same page when it comes to badges / events and all. I understand all your points. We have started to make a list of people we see that are on track for a certain badge. I also understand the feeling of favoritism. You should see a change in the badge process from now on. I think members have seen a "change" ever since TTG became more lenient. James wrote @madz: are there serisouly any opportunity to ever become staff anymore? Genuine. Also, what's your view on anime?Of course. Anime is the worst thing made by man. |

@maDz What made you want to join TTG, and how did you stumble across it?
@Sean What made you want to build a gaming forums site? @Luke How did you become a staff member? Did you get asked or did you stand out from the crowd? |

Anime wrote @maDz What made you want to join TTG, and how did you stumble across it?I was actually leeching MW2 lobbies on Se7ensins and I stumbled across a link to TTG. The UI on TTG was so much better so I decided to stay here. |

@ Sean When are we going to push out these bigger updates rather than continuing to grab smaller ideas to make the site better (ex, badges, rep system, etc) or making Discord a bigger picture than TTG.
@ Luke Although you're an amazing staff member, is it me or were you just added because of the massive amount of downloads and they needed another hand? @ Centurial When am I getting my money back, you said you'd pay me back.? |

Jebus wrote @Dil I've been on this site for nearly 10 years, and it's probably had the biggest impact on my life than any other website out there on the internet. I practically grew up with gaming, and this website was basically the backbone of that as I've met tons of people on here that I still talk to daily, and that alone has made being here worth it. Even after 10 years on the site, and being on and off with the moderator position (estimate around 3-4 years of being actual staff), I'm still one of the youngest, so the early days of my staff time was probably the most impactful due to the sheer size of the website and it's growth over those years, which in turn has taught me a lot of valuable lessons. As for my real life standing, I wouldn't say it's done anything significant, my "real" life / social life is generally quite separate from my internet life especially since growing up and meeting new people. |

James wrote @sean: Ninja contest? I'm ready.. I wasn't really asked and I honestly wasn't expecting a promotion at all. It just kind of happened. Regarding a ninja contest; Elijah hosted a lot of them in the past, I'd like to follow in his footsteps and host one myself in the future. Anime wrote I spent a lot of time reporting topics/posts and just trying to make myself known. After getting the ninja badge and becoming active in the shoutbox, I met maDz and we started to become good friends. We gamed together for awhile, I met a lot of other staff members and eventually was offered a spot on the team. Tom wrote "you're an amazing staff member" - You've answered your own question. |

This is a legitimate question ive had for a while.
How do these 1-20 post brand new accounts get trusted seller instantly? are they friends of ttg admins? just curious. ex: vantage, gatorcheats. also beta for new site overhaul perhaps? Id be interested in testing out the site and reporting bugs before release.(if possible) and lastly, Would you consider custom emoticons? similar to avatars, they should be approved before going live of course. Thank you TTG for keeping me occupied for many years almost daily for game news, updates, and other cool things to check out. |
