Hey I'm quite new to video editing but I want to give it a try I'm watching a lot of different tutorials and learning the software.
whats the easiest way or whats the most practical way of adding text when someone talks in a video, ill leave a video at the end of the post as an example of what I mean, I'm properly just acting thick but do you literally have to add a text line and cut it down after every sentence because even for a 10 min video I'm guess that will take days, if anyone has an suggestions please let me know. Many thanks Video for reference |

Subtitling is easy, just add text for the duration of that sentence and then add new text for the next sequence. You just trim the playable length of the subtitle down for the length of that sentence and so on. Easy but time consuming.
For animated text like that video. You'll need to use key framing to get it to move as you want it to. Plenty of tutorials on YouTube on how to key frame. |
