I never took a modern day train, but I have been on a coal powered one when I was young and watched a guy bust ass and shovel coal for a bit. Felt kinda bad for him as I imagine it was hot as ****. |

I'm from Boston, MA and train's and busses are the #1 transportations in the city but I used to ride the train a lot as a kid but I haven't in a while since I've moved to another city. |

Yeah I been on one once in West Virginia visiting my Aunt. It was different but a cool thing to experience I guess.
They do have a tangy smell to them but I dunno if that was just the one I was on lol |
