So with apex being the new hype thing, of course twitch prime is gonna jump on the train and give free stuff away. So i go and claim my free skin and boxes no problem i'll just link up my profile and get my stuff easy. If only it was.

First, the email that automatically links my account to some yahoo that i made back in 2006 for runescape and battlefield packs back in battlefield 3. So now i'm locked out of my email and can't recover it, no problem it happens all the time ill just head over to their support chat. I get there and they had the audacity to charge people 5$ for live chat customer support. So that's out of the question.

Second, ill just go to EA support, tell them i locked myself out my account and i don't have access to the email, easy it happens all the time. So first i wait about 5 hours because of the support wait time. I finally get connected to someone after waiting, i tell them my problem and they go "oh no problem just go ahead and sign this forum, if you provide info that you own this account you'll get it back" easy enough.

So i sit there and provide as much info as i can (what date i made the account, what game i linked it up to first etc etc) so then a day passes, i get a message from them saying i didn't have enough info and to give them and to request a call. So now im locked out of my account and i gotta wait for a call which the wait time was 6.5-7 hours.

I FINALLY get this call, and explain to the guy, i don't even want access to the email. I just want to unlink the profile. I can provide any information that i have that i own this account. The dude tells me to change my gamertag to get access to another email to link up. I was already frustrated so i hung up on him after that tomfoolery.

I go back to the support chat (6 hour wait i may add again) and i get the forum again. This time i'm not playing around, i listed everything that i possibly can remember

If you want to read what i said its here
I was around 40-50 ish in battlefield 3, I played a ton of rush with my friends.
I played a little bit of battlefield 1, possibly around level 10 ish?
A tad bit of battlefield 4, probably not even level 5.
Battlefield hardline, i finished the campaign and was possibly around level 20-30, most kills coming from smg's. played a lot of the V.I.P gamemode.

Finished a way out about 3-4 days after release. Loved it. Last game linked to the email "***@yahoo.com" was Apex legends.

Played a little bit of star wars battlefront 1/2. probably not wasn't pass level 10 on battlefront 1. Around level 10 ish on battlefront 2. Played a little of need for speed payback. Got to the off road part of the game.

Played a lot of need for speed hot pursuit online with friends.

That's most i can possibly give. If there's anything specific you need. Please contact me at ***@gmail.com

So 3 days pass (keep in mind i started doing this the day the free twitch pack was announced) I get this email and im rubbing my hands ready to get my profile back and get the same generic message

We couldn't grant access to this account based on the info you shared. We can only verify the account using the info that was given to us when the account was set up.

If you can get access to your email or share more info, let us know by filling out a new form at help.ea.com/account-recovery/web-form.

We're sorry for any inconvenience. We know not having access to an account is frustrating. We're extra cautious because we want all player info to be as safe as possible. Thanks for sticking with us.

Man, i hate dealing with support outside of xbox.

Edit: Forgot to add, to even submit a ticket, you have to sign into your xbox/psn account through the support site.

Damn that sounds really annoying. Can't believe they actually charge money for a live chat, I've never heard of that before and from a company like EA that is outrageous.
The only positive, at least this was all from a Twitch Prime thing, you know? You didn't actually buy packs and the payment get messed up or something worse. So at the end, it could have been a lot worse.

True, But ive never had this much of a problem deleting a email. I can understand if i wanted access to the account to try and get something, but i just want the account unliked. And i don't think anyone can gain/lose anything from a unlink.
