Soooooo at the place I work you get a nice 40% discount on any of the product that they sell, only problem is you get a far better discount if you don't work there and buy stuff in sales and such... for example I bought a 5kg bag of gluten free oats, 1kg bag of creatine some breakfast smoothies and some dried fruits= came to about 95£ before discounts if I used my staff discount (which I did) it costs 57.37 ish. Bought the same order again this week, it cost 49.89£, using the online discounts that they give customers and new customer, plus you don't get points on your account if you work there, lastly the worst part is that you still have to pay for delivery charges...( I work in production filling the bags, that go in to the warehouse.... I pick up my order from work, but still have to pay for delivery...) would love to hear your guys thoughts on this, I can't be the only one that finds this unfair that I have to pay more money even though I get a discount?

Happens everywhere in retail because lets face it, corporate don't give a shit about you all they care about is $$$. The worst affected are dominos employees they get 40% off anything but its so useless because the "deals' are always better than the discount.

I would quite frankly look for a new job. If the company doesn't take something as small as your discount correctly, I'm guessing they're messing up in other places too.

It may not be as much as a normal person, but I'm happy that I'm atleast able to get a decent discount.

I know how you feel if not worse, at my job we get free recycle and garbage. But they don't pick up from my area, they pick up from the next two blocks because Waste Management owns our part of the city. Also It's because the company cares about money not you, so I know how it feels.

After hearing what you get, think it's disgraceful you have to pay for delivery and not even get it delivered to your front door.
