| Was wanting to pre order the new s10+ and best buy and trade my current phone in but was wondering if i have to give my phone at the moment of pre order or just when i pick it up? And when would i pay? |

Usually speaking on pre-orders they ask for the serial number and that type of information so that once you pick up the device they can then do final inspection to take the device.
TLDR; You shouldn't have to give it to them now, after you pick up will be fine. |
