I'd be aiming for a GTX 1660Ti with this kind of budget, but since you need a monitor and this budget deserves more than a basic 1080p 60Hz display, you'll be a little over budget unless you take a bump in GPU or CPU really.

I wouldn't typically recommend TN panels, but 1080p 144Hz for 130 squid is a no brainer, especially with your budget.

You can swap the R5 1600 for an R3 1200 which would save you about 50 quid. Not ideal, but you'll lose less performance this way than if you were to drop the GPU to something lesser. Also, it's easy enough to upgrade Ryzen CPUs, especially since they're cheap as chips on the used market- I got my R7 1700x for £125 a good few months back now, and I regularly see R5 1600's going for £90 on the used market, so if in a couple months time when Ryzen 3000 launches you felt like an upgrade, you'd probably be able to find some super cheap 1st and 2nd gen Ryzen stuff, or you could just consider Ryzen 3000 potentially.

On the other hand, if you want to take a hit on the GPU side, your next best bet after the 1660Ti would be an RX 580. You're looking at £160-180 for a new RX 580 these days, which isn't a terrible price but the 580 is getting a bit old now, and it is a decent step down from a 1660Ti.
