I honestly hate myself right now for hearing the Dragon Quest theme, getting excited and then coming to the realisation that it's going to be that block world game that got so much shit when it was last revealed.

But at least XI is coming to Nintendo Switch!

I was just thinking the same their going to the Chibi looking block theme. Which is ok. And it's not the best either. Hey at least your right XI will be going to the switch.

The new Dragon Quest theme looks like crap. Reminds me of like when you play Pokemon back in the day in GBA where the characters are shrunk down.

Wrong trailer, Dragon Quest XI's for the Switch's world is the same size on other platforms. The Switch just throws in the old school/8-bit/16-bit graphics in places of the actual pre-rendered cut-scenes that the game has on PC and PlayStation.
