Mikey wroteWhat do you mean? The most visual FPS is 60 lolMortar wrote Project Scarlett is exciting enough to put enough money aside now for it as well as enough for a high-end 8K TV for when the time draws nearer. It will be very interesting to see what the price will be announced as for its initial release and whether there will be different iterations from the get go. |

Xbox have had a great E3 this year, there are too many points to list that I'm actually looking forward to. The main one being they are trying to bridge the gap between PC and console, makes sense for them to do it, just glad it's finally happening.
To list a couple I'm super hyped for. Microsoft Flight Sim; It's been a long time coming for this one, I loved the old games (2004 and FSX) but they are extremely dated. However with the reveal of this, I wasn't expecting it at all, and that's great. It looks stunning and glad they are finally putting AI into gaming graphics. Could mean we are in for one visually stunning experience. Cyberpunk 2077; The Keanu Reeves bit was good, I'm glad they are bringing a John Wick vibe to a game the right way. Let's just hope this is the final time we see a set release date for this game. It's had too many as it is... All round good show from Xbox this year imo. |

Not at a playable framerate at least. But for that setup upon both the releases of the TV's and console, you'd be looking at a 3 to 4 grand upgrade, especially for the higher end TV's... |

Even upscaled, there is zero chance for the console to run anything above 30fps, 8k pricing has always been up in the thousands so it's just not realistic for the console to be able to pull this off at a cheap price point. |

out of everything I've saw so far, I must admit I'm mostly really loving the look of the new xbox^ that elite controller, hopefully it doesn't have the same issue as current gen ones where the grips come off ad the sticks start to uh glide. |

That's my concern too, it's going to be more of a novelty right now because not even PCs can run 8k for gaming properly except for a few select examples, but even then there are hiccups and drops below 60. 8k upscaled will run easier than native 8k, but it's also going to be very noticeable on stretching, possibly ghosting. I think people should stick to 1080p or 4k TVs or switch over to 1440p or 4k monitors, hell, even 1080p if they want to save money on a 120+ Hz monitor to utilise the Xbox's 120 FPS support. |

Yeah... playing 8k on a console any time soon is so unrealistic. It would have to be 8k up scaled which is something completely different. 1440p / 4K is what the console should be aiming for but even then, at 120fps, it's probably going to be more 1440p. Interesting stuff though.
From what I can gather too, they are using SSD caching which will basically just put your most used applications / software into flash based cache instead of on a HDD for improved loading times. Would be nice to see an all SSD based console but I guess it's still too expensive. |

It's just another hyped move from Xbox, to make you buy the new console lol. I mean they have to try something I guess to sell the console, but the end of the day, no game is gonna be running at 8k with those frames lol. Even if you do fall for this, you gonna be spending like 4k on a new TV, plus having to buy the new console. Yes maybe in the future, but not for at least 5 years id say. I for one ain't getting the new Xbox, I just don't see any point. |

Exactly this the tv itself will cost way more then the console at this current time and probably during 2020 as well it will be the same kinda of prices. I figure 4K is something you'd wanna reach for like the one x but beef it up some more. |
