As some of you may have saw or heard, Apple's attempt at breaking the wireless charger industry has fallen short. 18 months after announcing Airpower becoming a real possibility, Apple's Vice President of hardware engineering has announced today that the project "Airpower" has been cancelled. The project was not deemed to be high enough quality to be released to the public. Issues related to overheating are a leading cause to the cancellation. This is all disappointing news after seeing the new wireless AirPods release, without and Apple related wireless charger to pair. This is just another bump in the already rocky 2019 for Apple. What do you guys think about this product being cancelled?

Rumors say apple is just always a step behind Samsung and they're just copying whatever they release but in a more different way. More like a different way that has the same purpose as a released product that Samsung already does. |

I suppose it's not as innovative, but if they take a product and make it better that's a good thing for consumers. |
