Upgrade my Internet speed from 200Mb to 1GB, but I don't get as much as this result. Max was 640Mb, but I get over 800Mb with Wifi. Do I need to get a Lan card?

Are you getting 640 with the WiFi built into the pc or are you testing it off multiple devices?

Gotcha. I have the 400x20 in my house, I upgraded from 100x10 and don't really see a extraordinary difference in how fast things download. I think gig speed is a little overrated technically speaking as while you pay for that speed, it doesn't mean you will download at that speed as you can only download as fast as the servers you are downloading from allow. I would keep the lan card you have in my opinion. But others may have a different opinion.

Ethernet will always be quicker over wireless. I would go hard wired in, you may notice a difference you may not as mentioned.

Very late reply but I must add

Don't get a different LAN card, I would as mentioned above go for the Ethernet cable. Yes it's another wire to cover up but you'll notice much faster speeds!
