So I am currently using WampServer 3.0.6 and I am trying to get a website off localhost so he can access it from home. For some reason I cant do this for the life of me. When I put localhost into my search bar i get my page, when he puts in my IP he gets nothing. I have looked at so many videos to change things but either the stuff to edit isnt there or what I change doesnt work.
Before anyone says to just purchase a host and do it thats not the point. I am trying to get the website down before actually launching it with a host. Any help would be greatly appriciated! Discord: Chr0nicxHack3r#6641 |

What have you done so far to get it to "Broadcast?"
Let me know what you have done so far and we can go from there! Thanks, Jkush12 |

This is a really late reply, but in case you're still struggling with this...
Other computers cannot view your website if it is through localhost unless you are using something like Apache or Nginx to broadcast your localhost to the network. Even then, your website will only be available to the local network. If you want to make it public to the world you have to configure your firewall to allow users to access that port. (don't do this to a home computer). If you really want a public website use something like GoDaddy, DigitalOcean, etc. |
