It was really all they had on the lot that I was interested in and tbh I've always kind of wanted one for the mpg lol.

Another little update, getting rid of some chrome. Hopfully I'll get a set of bumper but I'm not sure if that'll ever happen. Got a bigger thing happening here in a bit whenever I get time lol, but for now I got new headlights and paint matched the grill.

Ok, now the expensive parts are in lol, I decided for some reason 4" wasn't enough so I spent another $2k on a 6" lift. I still need to get some bigger tires, but now it's on a 6" lift lol.

Tires are on! I went with 37x13.5R20 Nitto trail grapplers and now the truck is looking right. Oh.... And I had to test out the new lift.

So with everything going to red and black, the blue Sinister stuff under the hood was bothering me. I still don't know what I'm going to do with the EGR plate or the coolant filter head, but I put red wire sheathing over the coolant lines to get rid of the blue. I also took some of the plastic pieces off so you could see the engine better and I painted the radiator mounts.

Before:

After:

I would like to get red CAC boots and tubes as well as paint the banks logo but who knows when that'll happen. Heck ideally I'd get a whole new coolant filter too and have the same one I had on my old 6.0 but I gotta draw the line some where to stop spending money that doesn't need to be spent.

Welp, she has a new name. Buckin Betty. For a while when the truck is cold, it will slip out of 3rd then SLAM into 5th. Well a few weeks ago it slammed 3 times in a row followed by a flashing tow haul light and no 5th gear. I had the trans rebuilt with a couple extra goodies put in.

All in all we have a new billet triple disc torque converter, a Sunnex shift kit, Trans go plugs, an EPC solonoid, and the rest was just rebuilt with stock parts. That was a solid $4k lol.

Also I got tired of not being able to see squat when backing up so I put on a couple spot lights. I have the red and black F-350 emblem for the rear, I've just been lazy and haven't put it on yet.

I'm not really big on mechanics as I don't really understand those specs but it does look rather sexy.
