Yes, it is compatible. PCPP tells you this.

I would not be buying a 1080p monitor with this kind of budget, that's for sure.

Zen2 has been announced, will be released July 7th. Also, Navi GPU's are coming soon(possibly also July 7th release) and we will have more info, as well as pricing at E3. So, I'd definitely be holding off a little bit, especially if you're dropping this kinda cash on a system. You will absolutely notice a difference between an R7 2700x and a Zen2 CPU with a high refresh rate monitor, and Navi GPU's are supposedly RTX 2060/2070 performance, with a (hopefully) more reasonable price tag.

Even then, we can't really help quite yet. We know you need a monitor, and we know your budget, but what exactly will the system be used for?
What kind of games, anything specific you play a lot of?
What else, other than gaming will the system be used for?

I don't see a single problem with the build. Some minor gripes but that's already been said by 21. I'd spring for a 1440p monitor at a minimum, but overall a solid build. Those would be to up the RAM to 3600 since Ryzen loves the stuff and really 3600 is more or less the point just before diminishing returns. 32GB of RAM is overkill for most things, but definitely leaves you with seriously ample room to work with. The HDD I'd chuck into the trash within a nanosecond though, that's only because I firmly believe in SSDs over HDDs any day of the year. Helps too that 1TB and 2TB options have dropped significantly in prices. The PSU isn't bad by any means, but considering this build, if it were me I'd hesitate on something below 1000 watts purely based on the current info we have with AMD, Intel is sure to pick up something, and I heavily doubt there won't be a 2070 Ti by the end of the year. So having that extra power may come in handy, or if you decide to opt out and go with an NVLINK and another 2070. No less though I'd steer far away from AMD until the benchmarks of their new products come out. Never know when you're going to get boned. Last thing you want to do right now is buy a 2080 Ti to find out AMD launched something better and for 300 less.
