Right,
So I currently have 4 prolapsed discs in my spine that are pressing against my sciatic nerve.
I can't have surgery yet because I have Factor VI issue. ( ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition/factor-xi-deficiency )

So the surgery is extremely risky.
However if it hasn't fixed itself in around 6 months they'll make a second opinion,
I'm just wondering if anybody has had this issue and have they had surgery? If so. Was it a success?
I don't want to go through the process and it not make a difference.
Currently can't work so its a balls ache.

I'm not sure and don't go through this but I just want to say I'm sorry you have to go through this. The pain you must be in must be intolerable.

Yeah i feel you man, i have scitica most the time its relatively fine the next its horrendous. But 4 trapped discs is insane man, you on meds to ease the pain? The advice i can obly give is what you've probably been told a million times so I'll just drop it:

Relax, take your time to do things. Im sorry you're going through this.

Worst case scenario is also VERY rare. My cousin has cerebral palsy, and has had numerous operations on her legs and back. Not once has the surgeon messed it up. Think of the positives.

Take it this way:

Do nothing - in pain
Wait 6 months & see what happens
Do something- potentially remove the issue.

Its all totally down to you buddy, Wish you the best
