(I apologize in advance if the pictures look weird, my monitor is an ultra-wide Asus, and for some reason Steam doesn't like to capture images in ultra-wide, maybe it's a setting somewhere, haven't really attempted to fix it as I don't take screenshots often)

Okay so, Skyrim, even though the original game released back in 2011, still gets played on a regular basis by me, and I've purchased the game multiple times, I had it on 360, I had it on Xbox One... twice, and on PC on two separate Steam accounts. I had to sell my old account, with my old PC, to my roomie at the time, needed money after hurricane Irma when we moved in with another dude who had a 3 bedroom and was displaced too, and found out that after a few months in one things settled, he started taking our money we gave him for rent, and spending it on mind altering hallucinogens, instead of... you know... rent. We found out when the internet was cut, and then he came clean about the eviction notice we received too that he hid, I hate people who do that... the good roomie from before Irma moved in with his parents after that, and I had to find somewhere else, so I needed the money, RIP PC.

Now that I've told you my life story, on with the post!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm back on PC now, with a few upgrades, and while playing Skyrim, I encountered a glitch in a quest, and the funny part is that it wasn't even a real quest, it was a miscellaneous quest to hunt a dragon, a bounty for a Jarl.

So, the quest was to kill the dragon at Mount Anthor, but when I got there, there was no dragon, and my quest marker for the dragon (had all other markers turned off) was sending me way far West, and it was the marker leading to a door, not an entity, as my fellow Skyrim players know there's two types of quest markers, direct and in-direct, and this one was in-direct saying my goal was through a door somewhere, so I hopped from spot to spot seeing how far West it was taking me, because even though in game my quest marker was sending me way far west, bring up the map had my quest marker still at Mount Anthor, which is weird to say the least.

So once I got to the spot the quest marker in-game was leading me to, I fought my way through, and entered an open area on the other side, I forgot the name of the place, but it was snowy, and there were forsworn, and it's a bit West of Solitude, it was kinda like a crater, and it was it's own cell in the game, so nothing outside of it in the rest of the world was loaded, except the dragon, and the Shrine of Azura for some reason, but we'll get to that.

So if I noclipped out (Which I did) the rest of the world wasn't spawned. But when I was inside that cell, my quest marker in game actually aimed me back to the East at Mount Anthor, and it was a direct marker saying my object wasn't through any doors, so I had to get there from within that cell or the quest would remain unfinished forever.

That's when I realized in the full-world cell, the dragon wasn't spawning, but in that small cell away from the rest of the world, the dragon spawned. So I noclipped out with the TCL command, and started running towards that quest marker, and once I got there, I could see the Shrine of Azura, and... you guessed it, a dragon, exactly where he wasn't supposed to be lol

So then I had to kill it:

Now if you'll notice, where I'm standing, has no navmesh for NPC's, so then I realized, even though it was dead, it had nowhere to really do it's crash landing animation because as far as the dragon AI was concerned, there was no ground. Draggo actually made it a point to fly at ground level halfway phased through to let me know that he can't land. Then I realized... I was gonna have to run all the way back... Good thing autorun is macrod, I hit it, hit Alt to start running, and the dragon circled and followed, all the way back to the forsworn area, which happened to be the only cell it would spawn into. You can see him in the next image phased into the ground because he can't land there, to him it simply doesn't exist:

Every now and then he would fly up and breathe fire on me, even though he's supposed to be dead, stupid dragon:

But either way, I kept running, and sure enough, he circled and followed me all the way back to where the land was navmeshed, and he could land. Here's him flying up once we got there:

I noclipped back inside, and he finally landed, and I ate his soul:

And I finally was able to go back and collect the bounty:

I still don't think that the amount he gave me as the bounty, was enough for all the work I put into it chasing down a dimension jumping dragon, but oh well. I could have just done like, "Setstage CR14 20" I think that's the right command for that quest, and just consoled my way to the end, but I don't like doing that lol
